Sales Reporting Vs Budget/Forecast for
a Medium Sized manufacturer

Problem Statement

We help small, medium and large enterprises to show their sales, budget vs forecast reporting real time basis on any BI tool which suits the organization needs and wants.
In a typical Sales reporting, we keep key performing indicators as per Industry standards and share it with clients and accommodate all those things which the customers are really looking to track on real time basis.

In this case, Manufacturer wanted us to track the real time sales on Power Bi Dashboard for its various regions integrated into one platform and sharing the reports to region-based sales managers to track and achieve their forecast targets.

Solution

We synced the clients sales data to postgres database based on automated pipelines which runs data every 1 hour and appends the database. Power BI Reports and dashboards were built with RLS features enables.

Impact

  • Customer has real live dashboards to track their sales & Brand/Marketing Managers can run promotions to achieve their forecast daily/monthly/annual sales to achieve company profitability.
  • Dashboards also provided Business reporting for customers to understand their own data very clearly. Like the areas or regions where they can improve.
  • Implement Pricing strategy of one area to other area where they achieved better results and so on.
